Welcome to Gullett!

We are very excited to welcome you to our Gecko family! Gullett Elementary is the best school in the world! Here are some of our highlights to look forward to:

• Social Emotional Learning Model Campus: Gullett serves as one of AISD's model campuses for social emotional learning. Our focus is on building resiliency, emotional regulation skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Creative Learning Initiative: As part of the McCallum Vertical Team, Gullett is one of the first schools to participate in the Creative Learning Initiative. 

• Green School Park: Gullett has earned the highest designation of Green School Park from the Cities Connecting Children to Nature initiative.

• Class Gardens: Every classroom has its own garden, and students garden bi-weekly with parent volunteers.

• Animals! We have so many animals from geckos to snakes to guinea pigs to fish and more! Each grade level is assigned to a category of animals and learns more about that animal. Families are invited to sign up to take our furry critters home on weekends and breaks via Konstella. 

• Outdoor Learning: We spend lots of time outdoors learning and playing. We have outdoor learning spaces throughout campus.

• Our teachers and staff are the absolute best! This dedicated team of educators goes above and beyond to help every child reach their potential.
