Dear Gecko Caregivers,

I am sending this out on the district Thrillshare platform, so that I can make sure all caregivers get this initial communication, and we will also post this on Konstella so my apologies for a double email! Throughout the 26-27 school year, we will continue to post the school newsletters through Thrillshare (district platform) and Konstella (PTA platform) to ensure schoolwide updates are shared with all.  

If you are new to us, Konstella is a platform we use to facilitate communication between school staff, caregivers and our PTA.  Konstella will still be our one stop place for classroom newsletters, PTA connections, volunteer opportunities and event info/sign ups. Our school website also has general information and upcoming events. Konstella will include that as well, but will have more specific details. Please be patient with our calendar as we are still working on adding all the information. In the meantime, I have linked a helpful one pager created by our amazing PTA so you can get ahead in planning for the big events of the year! 

Here is our official August 26-27 Welcome Back to School Letter!  Caution it is very long-but has everything you need to know to start the year! 

Please note, we are hosting our first “New To Gullett” info session for parents on August 10th at 6pm. This is a presentation for adults/caregivers new to Gullett and not geared towards children. 

“Gecko Kick Off” on August 13th from 4-5:30 is for the whole family so that you and your Geckos can come and meet the teacher, see old friends and start meeting new ones. Students can come and go to see their classrooms, meet their teacher and drop off supplies from 4-5. If you pre-ordered supplies you will be able to pick those up in the cafeteria and you can stop by the gym to check out the photo booth and school swag!  At 5pm, teachers will be closing their doors, but families are welcome to mingle from 5-5:30 on the blacktop and playground areas. We are so excited to kick off the 26-27 school year and can’t wait for the first day on August 18th!
